Randy Anderson is co-founder of E3 Professional Trainers… a Texas- based training firm that provides customized training, keynote presentations, and personal coaching to help people become more engaged in their work, be better equipped to do their job, and feel empowered to live a more fulfilling life that will count for something after they’re gone.

In addition to earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Ag Communications from Texas Tech University in 1990, Randy has participated in and completed multiple courses and programs in Leadership, Communication, Personal Productivity, and Sales. In 2012, Randy achieved the designation of Certified Speaking Professional. The CSP is the highest earned designation awarded by the National Speakers Association and the International Speaker Federation, and is held by less than 10% of professional speakers worldwide.

Mr. Rick Gardner serves as the UT Cyber Security Advisor (CSA) for the Integrated Operations Division (IOD) of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). He supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) mission of strengthening the security and resilience of the nation’s critical infrastructure. His daily responsibilities include coordinating cyber preparedness information sharing and collaboration, risk mitigation and incident response, and providing cyber security resources, including providing assessments.

 

Rick Gardner has over 25 years working as a professional in Information Technology, to include his previous assignment as the Utah Army National Guard (UTARNG), Deputy Chief Information Officer CIO / G6 which he successfully fulfilled for over 6 years.

 

Chief Gardner has served in the Military for the past 28 years and is currently serving as a CW4 Senior Team Chief for the UTARNG Defensive Cyber Operations Element (DCOE). In this capacity he is responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating and providing technical assistance for defensive cyberspace operations. He is a subject matter expert for managing cyber incident response activities with state and local government, industry partners, and for inquiries from other National Guard / Department of Homeland Security / ACOIC and other government agencies.

Heather leads the firm’s Governmental Law Practice Group. She has 24 years of
experience defending governmental entities in all types of claims, including road
claims. Heather has tried many governmental civil rights cases to a favorable defense
verdict in state and federal trial and appeals courts.

She also focuses on the defense of governments in high profile civil rights disputes.
Defending governmental entities and their officers against complaints asserting the
deprivation of civil rights . These include all types of claims of alleged misconduct,
such as excessive force, search and seizure, wrongful arrest, false imprisonment,
malicious prosecution, abuse of process and denial of medical care, to name a few. At
any given time, Heather is involved in multiple officer-involved shooting cases through
inception, including investigations by the Department of Justice and press inquiries,
through conclusion.

R. Blake Hamilton is a partner at Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar. He is a member of the Commercial Litigation, Health Care, Insurance, White Collar and Government Investigations practice groups. Blake’s primary focus is representing governmental entities in civil rights litigation. He has represented governmental entities and their employees through the Utah Local Government Trust, Utah Counties Indemnity Pool, Utah Risk Management Agency, Utah Highway Patrol Association, and Professional Law Enforcement Association. Blake serves as general counsel for the Utah Peace Officers Association and the National Institute of Jail Operations. He also serves as general counsel for the Hurricane City Police Department and the Powder Mountain Water & Sewer Improvement District.

Mike Mathieu; Began his career in the fire service in 1979 with Weber County Fire Dept. In 1981 transferred to Weber Fire District and again in 1986 to Ogden City. Served in positions of Firefighter, Engineer, Paramedic, Flight Medic (Life Flight), Captain, Medical Chief, Deputy Chief and currently serving as Fire Chief for Ogden City. Attended Westminster College, Weber State University, National Fire Academy, and many vocational specific educational opportunities. Grew up in the Ogden area, married with three children.
